How to Use Nokia S40 Prov File
Maker for Java J2ME Mobile:
~Download the app available
below.
Download Prov Creator Here!
~Install in any java supported
phone.
~Enter the required
configuration
settings e.g ip:
(010.199.212.002
port: 8080) to generate a prov
file.
~See the example in image
here
~Click on OK to save and get
the .prov file. It Will be saved
on ur phone in the gallery or
memory card and it will show a
logo of (?)
How to Use the PROV File in My
Phone:
~Send this .prov file through
Bluetooth to a nokia S40 phone
~You will receive message
like"New Configuration Settings
Received"
~Save the settings in the phone
to use
~Now goto your settings and
configuration and make this
setting as default in your phone
~Also activate as default
settings in all applications
When transferring the file .prov
to your phone, don't copy that
file and paste in your phone.
You need to right click the file
and send to Bluetooth to the
phone in which file need to use.
File transfer should go
through"object push"not by"file
transfer"method. If still the file
is not getting send correctly
then first transfer it to another
phone and then send it to your
phone through Bluetooth.
Simply you can use any method
to get this file to your phone via
Bluetooth.
